Updates from the City of Bad Homburg

The city of Bad Homburg has closed the city administration to prevent the spread of SARS CoV 2 as of today (Monday, March 16). The employees are instructed to either work from their home office or to remain on standby at home.

The city has set up a hotline for urgent matters. It can be reached at

Also closed:

  • Seedammbad
  • all Bürgerhäuser
  • all sports facilities by the municipality
  • all playgrounds by the municipality

The city has canceled its participation in Girl’s and Boy’s Day on March 26th.

Mayor Alexander Hetjes has announced that the city will be adapting future steps to the respective development.

The daycare centers, like the schools, remain closed due to a decision by the state cabinet. The city offers emergency daycare if both parents or single parents work in an area that is part of the necessary basic infrastructure.

The city will be updating its information on the steps taken on the homepage www.bad-homburg.de.
